Fine Artist

I am a fine artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. I’m known for my expressionistic interpretation of a variety of sports with an established following in the UK, and examples of my work is in collections worldwide.

I have exhibited in the USA and galleries in London and Dubai represent me. I have carried out many successful commissions in my own distinctive style.

My energetic and colourful racing art is unique in the genre of Contemporary Sporting Art.

Biography

A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, I have my studio in Strathbungo, Glasgow.

I am best known for my large, expressive pictures of horse racing, unique in the genre of contemporary sporting art. My work also includes delicate ink and mixed media studies as well as atmospheric pastels. I have also taken this distinctive style into the field of architecture and cityscapes, motor racing, boxing, cricket and athletics also feature in my varied portfolio.

I bring my unique presentation skills to corporate events in "Work in Progress". Part Exhibition, part performance, part lecture which brings fine art subjects to life.

My work is exhibited in Europe, The USA and Dubai as well as the major racecourses in the UK.

I have carried out many successful commissions in my own distinctive style and write regularly for a number of journals as well as lecturing on a variety of art related topics.

In scale, my work varies from large wall paintings to small ink studies.
